Ada Rave and Felicity Provan, both originally from the southern hemisphere have been playing music together since 2013. They are improvisers who share a background in jazz and free music and since being based in Amsterdam continue to develop their own voices. Performing as a duo has felt like a natural progression from their history of playing together in different line ups. Their improvisations vary from melodic and rhythmic structures to a quieter sustained flow of extended sounds. They craft these by combining tenor saxophone, cornet, clarinet and voice.
Performances have included: Amsterdam, Deventer, Utrecht, Limburg and recently recording their first album in Studio de Zoete Inval which will be released in 2024.
